Her genre bending music combines roots of pop, rock, and folk music from many generations into one stylistic sound. Her music revolves around topics of womanism, LGBTQIA+ life, & mental health issues; all important part of her life’s work in music and out in the world.
Bio
Described by some as “a Taylor Swift with suburban charm,” Faith Carroll is a singer-songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, bassist, and pianist from Southern New Hampshire. Her songwriting spans across many genres including, but not limited to pop, rock, and folk with inspirations such as Paramore/Hayley Williams, David Bowie, & Joni Mitchell. Faith’s songwriting creates a safe space for love and pushes for social change, specifically regarding women empowerment and mental health visibility. In addition to performing solo, she can also be found performing with Boston based Queen’s Reign, an all woman & non-binary rock group that she co-founded along with Kate Halstead. Faith is also a member of Gretchen & the Banshees, a Siouxsie & The Banshees Cover Band based in Allson, MA.
Faith’s musical journey started the day she was born. Raised in a family with a love for music, she started singing and taking piano lessons in 4th grade, continuing her musical studies throughout middle and high school. Faith was heavily involved in the music program at her high school including being a member of the chorus, theater guild, all-women’s acappella group, and participating in New Hampshire All state for all four years of her high school career. Faith is currently attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where she is majoring in Professional Music with concentrations in Performance, Songwriting, & Creative Entrepreneurship. She’ll complete her BM degree in Fall of 2023.
Faith is an active performer and is in the process of collating her original repertoire to begin recording her first album. After graduation, she plans to become a full time touring musician while continuing her songwriting endeavors. The next 5 years will be an exciting time for Faith as she moves forward releasing her music and touring while creating a strong fan base of like-minded listeners throughout the United States.
